Purpose of Providing Loan to SHG Women
The purpose of providing loans to SHG women, based on their own growth, is to support and strengthen the progress they have already made through hard work and determination. These loans help them expand their existing businesses, increase their income, and achieve greater financial stability. By building on their own efforts, the support enables them to reach new milestones, improve their quality of life, and become role models for others in their community.
Outcome of the Project
Women who received a loan from Surabi used it to start selling vegetables and dresses through a tempo, combining mobility with entrepreneurship. In the beginning, they operated a small shop with limited income and resources. Over time, their hard work and dedication helped them grow the business into a larger, more successful store. The increased income allowed them to move beyond the poverty line and achieve financial stability. With their improved earnings, they were able to support their family's needs more comfortably. Importantly, their two daughters are now studying in college, a dream made possible through the business. This transformation highlights how access to timely financial support can change lives. Their story stands as a powerful example of women’s empowerment through self-help and determination.
